 Here's a shot by a guest photographer, my maternal grandfather, Clarence Norris, whom I'm sorry to say died before I was born. My mother is on the left with her mother, circa 1938, on what my mom recalls as a very cold road trip to Sequoia National Park. She recalls how their blankets were inadequate and how her father went bought newspapers for extra insullation on their camping cots. Exact date unknown.
