I'm missing some details on this one, like the photographer, camera, and year, but according to my wife this is her great grandmother Alice 'Nanny' Green and her husband Charlie in the front seat with their boy, Victor. Victor grew sort of like that impressive tree, and we credit our son's height to this distant DNA. The folks in the back are unknown friends who were along for the ride.

They're being used to rope off a few pathways near the office at Crystal Cove. There was some color on them, old paint that was rather muted, so I ended up liking the shot best in black and white. Besides a variety of illegally dumped sofas and smashed beer bottles, there wasn't much else going on at the end of this road. I would have explored a bit, but the road's heavily barricaded termination greeted me with a variety of signs proclaiming that the area was a hazardous substance zone.
